RETRO 1950’s Boxy Black VELVET Vintage Purse—BEADED Flowers!

 

This adorable black velvet bag features colorful beaded flowers and gold bead accents all over the top. Interior is lined in black satin with a pocket (very minor signs of use). Versatile enough for day or night—you can wear it with jeans or a (poodle?) skirt! 

 

Nice and roomy, this handy handbag measures 4” deep, 3.5” high and 6” across; handle adds over 6 inches---big enough for a cell phone, lipstick and wallet. NO holes, stains or tears, this bag is in SUPER shape. C. 1950s.

This MINTY BLACK CORDE' HANDBAG looks ultra feminine with its scalloped top and detailed design.  Clean black lining and zippered interior with double handles. Overall in SUPER shape!

 

An unusual shape and size, it measures approx. 6.5" wide flaring out to 9" wide on top x 7.5" high; handles add 6". No label, but it's obviously a Corde bag with it's style and quality.  c. 1940s-50s

This GORGEOUS VINTAGE CLOTH BAG features a pretty 800 SILVER CLASP!  Beautiful black moire fabric purse sports a fancy floral frame and long double-chain handle. Frame measures approx 6" wide, bag is approx. 7" high and 7' at widest point.

 

  Silver frame is marked 800 on side near clasp with small impression.  Minor tears by frame---overall in VG condition. You can carry as is or  use the 800 silver frame for a different purse.

Stylish Rex purse boasts the best of both worlds:  the sleek Lucite top with the boxy metal banded bottom.  This square shape is less common than it rectangular sisters, with a slight flare. This stunner measures approx 7.25" wide at frame by 7.5" long.  Lucite handle adds approx 5 inches. Sturdy and shiny w/ very minor wear inside or out.
