FAB FLORAL DRESDEN W& D DECO MESH PURSE

This JAZZY VINTAGE WHITING & DAVIS MESH PURSE sports a SNAZZY ZIG ZAG SKIRT and FANCY GOLDTONE FRAME!

The fine Dresden mesh boasts a colorful floral pattern with pretty pastel colors of reds, purples, blues, gold, greens and pinks, etc. topped by a fancy stand-up clasp. This dainty 1920s enameled mesh bag looks like an impressionist painting by Monet with its pastel palette. Best of all, it's in great shape with nice gold silky lining--very minor age wear, no fading, holes or tears--overall in EX-NEAR-MINT condition. A nice big size, it measures approx 5" wide x 8" high.

What makes this feminine flapper purse really special is the flowing ZIG ZAG skirt of varying lengths. This RARE beauty will please even the fussiest flapper.

FINE FIGURAL PETIT POINT PURSE--MARCASITES!

This GORGEOUS FIGURAL PETIT POINT PURSE is topped by a fancy frame filled with MARCASITES and PEARLS! ALL pearls and marcasites intact. This beauty is in GREAT shape--no stains, wear or tears to bag. New sea-foam lining just added! (Pic to come later)

Tiny petit point stitches indicate this bag is either of Austrian or French origin. Incredible detailed outdoor scene depicts cherubs, children or angels riding in a cart or chariot pulled by dogs--or are they mountain lions... ?

This SNAZZY VINTAGE WHITING & DAVIS BEADLITE MESH PURSE sports a RARE RUFFLED DRESDEN MESH SKIRT! Beadlite mesh bags were Whiting & Davis' answer to beaded bags--each mesh link has a raised "bumpy" surface or bead. Since these bags didn't catch on as well as their other designs, they are few and far between--especially when coupled with very fine Dresden mesh skirts!

The Beadlite mesh boasts a colorful floral pattern--is it fruit or flowers?-- with pretty colors of orange, yellows, greens and blue topped by a Deco silver frame. This 1920s enameled mesh bag is in great shape inside and out--very minor age wear on frame, no fading, holes or tears--overall in NEAR-MINT condition.
