DECO VANITY CASE--GEMS & TASSEL!
This FAB
celluloid/Bakelite? vanity bag is
in great shape inside and out and contains a powder well with a
beveled mirror along with compartments for rouge, tiny cigs, coins
or a hanky. Thick
and heavy, the case has an unusual six-sided ridged shape with a
long cord and tassel that look original. NO cracks, or chips,
minor wear, mirror is a bit cloudy on edges.
A nice size and weight, this 1920s
beauty measures 2 " wide x 3" high;
rope handle adds approx. 8" and
tassel adds 5".
Dazzling rhinestones are all clear and
intact and give it that sparkle and bling!

ITALIAN SCENIC ENAMEL features a RARE family scene of a
lovely lady flying a KITE while her husband and child look
on. Most of these compacts showed lovers or romantic poses so
this is an unusual outdoor scene with the woman amusing herself,
rather than playing the damsel in distress or romantic maiden. This
beauty is a BIG 3" x 3" at its widest points. NO
dings, scratches or flaws--very minor surface wear, if any.
SHINY VERMEIL goldwash is still bright inside and out; back looks
more silver, clean unused puff and CLEAR beveled mirror--overall in
EXCELLENT-NEAR-MINT condition. Marked
Made in Italy and 800 with a tiny symbol.

WOOD WAND ART COMPACT--FAIR MAIDEN WALKING A DUCK!
WAND ART is known for
its fanciful compact designs and this scenic cutie is a
perfect example. A pretty blonde farm girl or fair maiden
appears to be walking her pet duck on a leash! All
paint is intact, covered with a glossy finish to preserve the
artwork.
During WWII, many
manufacturers used alternative materials for their compacts,
including plastic and wood. Solid wood body is in great shape with minor wear,
interior is empty with clear mirror . This c. 1940s
