and was probably purchased while on vacation in a Maltese hotel.
(The comb is imprinted with the hotel's name) The compact and
lipstick are made of very shiny textured goldtone metal, complete
with its orignal pouch and fitted box. Overall in MINT condition
with a clear beveled mirror and UNUSED puff. Made by
Melissa, one of the UK's best brands.
Malta was considered
part of Britain from 1800 until 1979 when British forces finally
left the islands.
I always think of the classic movie "The Maltese Falcon" with
Humphrey Bogart! .
A nice big size, the compact measures approx 3" wide
with a clear mirror. SHINY goldtone in super shape--makes a great
display. The box is in EX condition with a stained spot on
bottom. You've got your compact, lipstick and comb--what more do you
